Bad Bunny and His Faithful Companion Sansa Star in Vogue’s ‘Dogue’ Cover
Bad Bunny, the renowned Puerto Rican singer, and his adorable 4-year-old beagle Sansa Martínez Berlingeri have captured the hearts of many with their enchanting appearance in the latest edition of Vogue’s special series dedicated to dogs, ‘Dogue.’
The feature, published by Vogue, showcases Bad Bunny sharing a delightful spaghetti dinner with Sansa at a charming Italian bistro, carefully transformed for the photo shoot in Puerto Rico. This heartwarming scene beautifully captures the affectionate bond between the singer and his loyal companion.
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has a special place in his heart for Sansa, whom he adopted when she was just 3 months old. Inspired by the character Sansa Stark from HBO’s Game of Thrones, played by the talented Sophie Turner, Bad Bunny chose this name for his beagle due to her remarkable strength and presence.
‘She has that same strength and presence,’ Martínez Ocasio told Vogue. ‘The name just felt right from the beginning.’
Beyond her adorable looks, Sansa is a loving and playful companion, with a strong personality that has captured the hearts of many. Interestingly, despite beagles’ reputation for being vocal, Bad Bunny describes Sansa as relatively quiet and well-behaved, making her an ideal companion for her owner.
Speaking about Sansa’s personality, Bad Bunny shared, ‘She’s the sweetest, even if she barks at you first. That’s just her way of introducing herself.’
This isn’t Sansa’s first time in the spotlight; she previously appeared in Bad Bunny’s music video for ‘Ojitos Lindos,’ which was released on Valentine’s Day in 2023. This adorable beagle has truly stolen the hearts of many with her charming appearance and loving personality.
During a questionnaire accompanying the Vogue feature, Bad Bunny revealed several fascinating details about his life with Sansa, including her favorite food – bananas, favorite toys – socks, and her worst habit – emptying trash cans. He also shared that Sansa snores ‘like a human’ and needs to be carried to bed ‘like a baby.’
When asked who should voice Sansa if she appeared in a movie, Bad Bunny chose the talented actress Cameron Diaz, perfectly capturing the beagle’s adorable and charming personality.
Beyond her adorable appearance, Sansa has also accompanied Bad Bunny to various events, including a movie theater to watch Batman. When asked about the place he would most like to take Sansa, Bad Bunny replied, ‘I would love to be able to take her everywhere.’
After completing his eight-month Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour at the end of July, with its final performance in Brussels, Bad Bunny and Sansa took a break to enjoy the photo shoot in his native Puerto Rico.
Bad Bunny’s love and dedication to Sansa are truly heartwarming, making their appearance in Vogue’s ‘Dogue’ cover a perfect tribute to their special bond.
