Ariana Madix, the Emmy-nominated host of the popular reality TV series Love Island USA , has been teasing the upcoming Season 8 reunion, revealing that there will be an unseen footage show. The special was filmed on August 10 and is set to stream on Peacock on Monday, August 31 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

Madix gave insight into what viewers can expect from the reunion, stating that everyone who attended was ready to discuss their feelings and any issues they had been carrying with them. ‘Everybody came there ready to say exactly how they feel, and if they had a chip on their shoulder or something they wanted to bring up, they were ready to come and talk about it,’ she explained to Entertainment Weekly.

According to Madix, the reunion took many different directions, depending on who was talking and the situation at hand. However, she believes it was the perfect conclusion to the season. ‘And, of course, in talking about it, depending on who you’re talking about or the situation, it went many different directions, but I think that it was the perfect conclusion to the season,’ she said.

One of the most interesting aspects of the reunion, Madix noted, was the unseen footage that was shown. ‘You will get a lot of unseen footage, which I think cleared a lot of things,’ she said. ‘That was really interesting for me because I only got to see it for [the first time] as well.’

Madix will be joined by Andy Cohen as they co-host the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion. The special will reunite the Islanders after leaving the villa, crowning Trinity Tatum and Bryce Alakai as the winning couple. Other fellow Islanders set to make an appearance include Aniya Harvey, Melanie Moreno, Kayda Bosse, Dylan Wrona, Kenzie Annis, Corbin Mims, Caleb McDaniel, Tierra ‘Titi’ Davis, and KC Chandler. The first dumped Islander, Sean Reifel, was also at the reunion, as well as early favorites Beatriz Hatz and Sol Dean.

Madix expressed her excitement for the reunion, stating that she believes it will be an unforgettable experience for the viewers. ‘I think it’s going to be really great, and I think it’s going to be really interesting for the viewers,’ she said.

The reunion will provide a unique opportunity for the Islanders to reflect on their experiences in the villa and discuss any issues that may have arisen during their time together. Madix believes that the reunion will be a great way to conclude the season and provide a sense of closure for the viewers. ‘I think it’s going to be a really great way to wrap up the season and give the viewers a sense of closure,’ she said.
