UKTV’s U&I Channel Orders Third Season of ‘Bookish’ and a Christmas Special

Mark Gatiss’ cozy crime drama ‘Bookish’ has secured a third season order at UKTV’s U&I channel, along with a two-part Christmas special set to premiere this year. The third season, consisting of six episodes, is scheduled to begin production later in 2026.

The festive special, titled ‘Bookish: The Crown of Destiny,’ will follow bookkeeper Gabriel Book (played by Mark Gatiss) as he becomes entangled in a seasonal mystery. More details about the upcoming season will be revealed in the coming months.
