Television Critics Association Reveals Winners of 42nd Annual Awards

The Television Critics Association (TCA) announced the winners of its 42nd annual awards, recognizing excellence in television programming. Among the top prizes, Heated Rivalry took home the coveted Program of the Year award, while Widow’s Bay dominated the competition with three trophies, including Outstanding Comedy.

The Pitt, a drama series on HBO Max, won the Outstanding Achievement in Drama award, solidifying the network’s strong presence in the awards season. Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay also received additional TCA wins for Outstanding New Program and Individual Achievement in Comedy for star Kate O’Flynn.

Rhea Seehorn was honored with the Individual Achievement in Drama award for Apple TV’s Pluribus, and both Seehorn and O’Flynn are also nominated for Emmys next month. The TCA awards also recognized other notable winners, including Netflix’s Death by Lightning in the Movies, Miniseries or Specials category and Peacock’s The Traitors for Reality programming.

Stephen Colbert was awarded the 2026 Career Achievement Award, and the groundbreaking sketch comedy series In Living Color received the TCA’s Heritage Award. The full list of winners includes:
