Ruby Karp Sets Veeps Launch For Comedy Special ‘I Don’t Trust Adults’
Comedian and writer Ruby Karp is set to take the stage with her highly anticipated comedy special, ‘I Don’t Trust Adults,’ which will be available to stream exclusively on Veeps starting Thursday, September 10. The special, which has been performed Off-Broadway at SoHo Playhouse, tells the story of six different adults who have left a lasting impact on Karp, causing her to be forever suspicious of adults.

The special is a must-watch for young people who dream of having autonomy, for adults who are healing from other adults, and especially for the theater kids who never got cast.
Directed by Britt Berke and executive produced by Amy Boland, ‘I Don’t Trust Adults’ is written and performed by Karp. A comedian and writer from New York City, Karp has been performing all over the city, including at UCB, where she has been hosting monthly shows since she was 12 years old.
Karp’s impressive resume includes starring opposite singer-songwriter Charlie Puth in his improvised Roku comedy show ‘The Charlie Puth Show’ and being a cast member in Season 3 of Dropout’s ‘Smartypants.’ She has also been featured at JFL, with additional appearances on MTV and Comedy Central, and was named one of the New York Comedy Festival’s Creators to Watch in 2023.
