Nottingham Forest’s Summer Transfer Window Update

Aston Villa and Coventry City are also making significant moves in the transfer market, while Sunderland has completed a major signing.

Nottingham Forest are reportedly in advanced talks with Chelsea over a deal for 23-year-old striker Liam Delap. The player has been training away from Xabi Alonso’s first team at Stamford Bridge and has been left out of Chelsea’s squad for their recent game against Fulham.

Forest’s head coach Oliver Glasner has expressed his desire to strengthen the team further before the transfer window closes next week. He wants to bring in two more high-quality players, with a focus on improving the team’s wing-back position.

Coventry City are working on a deal to sign Brentford defender Ethan Pinnock. The 33-year-old joined Barnsley in 2019 and made just four top-flight appearances last season. Sunderland has completed a major signing with the midfielder Jules Ahoka from Royal Antwerp for a reported £8m.
