Astra TV Awards 2026: Celebrating the Best in Television

The 6th Astra TV Awards took place on Saturday, honoring the outstanding achievements in television. Hosted by Lisa Ann Walter at the InterContinental in Los Angeles, the event brought together the who’s who of the television industry.

The big winner of the evening was HBO’s The Pitt, which took home seven trophies. The drama series was recognized for its exceptional storytelling, direction, and acting. Netflix’s Beef was a close second, winning five awards, including the Limited Series award.

Other notable winners include HBO Max’s Hacks and Apple TV’s Shrinking, both of which won four awards each. The winners of the Comedy Series and Limited Series awards were Hacks and Beef, respectively.

The Astra TV Awards also recognized the outstanding performances of several actors and actresses. Jean Smart won the Actress in a Comedy Series award for her role in Hacks, while Jason Segel took home the Actor in a Comedy Series award for his role in Shrinking.

Noah Wyle won the Actor in a Drama Series award for his role in The Pitt, while Keri Russell took home the Actress in a Drama Series award for her role in The Diplomat. Patrick Ball won the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series award for his role in The Pitt, while Sepideh Moafi took home the Supporting Actress in a Drama Series award for her role in The Pitt.

The Astra TV Awards also recognized the outstanding achievements in writing and directing. The Pitt took home the Directing in a Drama Series award for its exceptional direction, while The Comeback won the Writing in a Comedy Series award for its exceptional writing.

The winners of the Limited Series or TV Movie categories included Beef and Remarkably Bright Creatures. The winners of the Animated Series category included Hazbin Hotel, while the winners of the Anime Series category included Witch Hat Atelier.

The Astra TV Awards also recognized the outstanding achievements in various other categories, including voice-over performances, game shows, reality series, and documentaries.
