On Wednesday, Taylor Swift made a special appearance at the Ross House in Los Angeles to show her support for the Emmy nominees behind the Disney+ special ‘The Eras Tour: The Final Show.’

The music mogul, who is also nominated as a producer and performer in the film, took the time to meet with a room of around 50 guests, including Emmy voters, to discuss the making of the historic concert documentary.

‘One of the things that I was so impressed by, and the needle Glenn threaded so effortlessly, is that the Eras Tour was such a phenomenon because of so many factors but one that I know that is really important is that it was a source of great escapism for the people who were there,’ Swift said, highlighting the significance of the concert experience.

Swift praised director Glenn Weiss, who is nominated for directing and double-nominated in the category for also directing the 78th annual Tony Awards, for his ability to capture the essence of the final stop on her tour.

‘Glenn created a situation where the fans could be lost in the moment because of the rehearsals that he did with our dancers and me leading into the final show,’ Swift continued. ‘If you liked the choreography that you saw of our dancers, you should have seen the footwork of our Steadicam operator.’

The film, which is nearly three and a half hours long and features 45 songs, documents the last concert on the extensive tour, during which Swift performed songs from almost all of her albums ever released.

Shot in Vancouver, BC, the film received five Emmy nominations, including Best Variety Special (Prerecorded), Best Directing for a Variety Special, Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a special.

This is not Swift’s first Emmys recognition; she won a trophy for Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media in 2015 for AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience.

The Final Show was also produced by Taylor Swift Productions in association with Silent House Productions.

Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour: The Final Show’ has been making waves in the entertainment industry, and it’s clear that the music mogul is dedicated to preserving the essence of her historic tour.

With her nominations and recognition, Swift is proving herself to be a talented and versatile artist who continues to push boundaries in the entertainment industry.
