Xbox Game Pass Unveils Impressive August 2026 Wave 2 Lineup

Microsoft has recently announced the Xbox Game Pass August 2026 Wave 2 lineup, featuring a diverse array of exciting new titles.

Among the highlights of this lineup is Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, which is set to launch on August 27 as a day one release on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This highly anticipated game follows the journey of Sophia as she navigates treacherous trials, solves puzzles, and fights to stay one step ahead of a deadly army.

Other notable releases include Vapor World: Over the Mind, a narrative-driven souls-like platformer that focuses on deflection combat, and Blood Dungeon, a 2D platforming survival game from the creators of Nidhogg.

Additionally, Microsoft has announced that a number of games will be leaving Game Pass on August 31, including Another Crab’s Treasure, I Am Your Beast, One Lonely Outpost, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt- Remastered Edition, and NBA 2K26, which will leave on September 6, two days after the release of NBA 2K27.
