Khloé Kardashian Brings Her Closest Friends to the Spotlight in New Reality Series

It’s been nearly two decades since the Kardashian-Jenner family first burst onto the reality TV scene with their hit show Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E!

Now, after years of having their own lives and families documented on camera, Khloé Kardashian is stepping behind the lens to give her closest friends the spotlight in her new unscripted series, The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project.

The show follows the lives of six women: Nicole Williams English, Olivia Pierson, Khadijah Haqq-McCray, Natalie Halcro, Malika Haqq, and Yris Palmer. While all have experience in front of the camera, except for Palmer, they bring different histories and relationships to the group.

Malika and Khadijah are longtime friends of Khloé’s, while Williams English, Pierson, and Halcro previously starred together on WAGS, another E! reality series. The women navigate motherhood, marriage, dating, business, and their friendships with one another, all while being filmed by cameras.

Khloé serves as an executive producer, narrator, and appears on-screen at times, but intentionally doesn’t position herself as a main cast member. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Khloé opens up about the drama that surprised her, balancing being a boss and a friend as an EP, and why she doesn’t want The Girls to feel like another Kardashian spinoff.
