Indycar Series Returns to Washington, D.C.

The 2026 Indycar Series is set to take place in the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix. After the Grand Prix of Ontario in Canada in mid-August, the series travels to the United States’ capital city for an exciting round of racing. The event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22, with practice and qualifying rounds, and on Sunday, Aug. 23, with the main event.

When and Where to Watch

The Grand Prix of Washington, D.C. will take place throughout the streets of Washington, D.C., around the National Mall in a street circuit. The event will be broadcast across FS1, FS2, and FOX, with practice and qualifying rounds starting on Saturday, Aug. 22, and the main event taking place on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

How to Watch Online for Free

If you’re unable to catch the live broadcast on TV, you can watch the Indycar Freedom 250 Grand Prix live online for free through various streaming platforms.
