Catherine Zeta-Jones will be starring in and executive producing the upcoming revenge thriller series ‘Kill Jackie’, which will premiere exclusively on AMC+ in the US on October 2. The streamer has also released new key art for the show, which can be seen below.

‘Kill Jackie’ is based on Sunday Times bestselling author Nick Harkaway’s novel ‘The Price You Pay’, which serves as the foundation for the series. In the show, Zeta-Jones will be playing the role of Jackie Price, who has been living a luxurious existence for the past twenty years. She has been traveling the world, selling fine art, and trying to stay anonymous after escaping a dangerous past as an international drug smuggler. However, her life takes a sudden and lethal turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons, a squad of the world’s most terrifying hitmen, have been hired to kill her.

Assuming that someone from her past is behind it, Jackie unleashes her old instincts and embarks on a wild and dangerous game plan: to take down The Demons one by one before they kill her. However, she soon realizes that her own demons are much more terrifying than the ruthless killers on her trail, and her buried secrets lead her closer to home with surprising consequences.

The cast of ‘Kill Jackie’ also includes Daniel Ings, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Óscar Jaenada, Hattie Hook, Darci Shaw, Raff Law, Enzo Cilenti, Christine Adams, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Karlis Arnolds Avots, Set Sjöstrand, Tadashi Ito, Sebastian Armesto, Julian Barratt, Gavin Spokes, Jonathan Cake, Bamshad Abedi-Amin, Bill Paterson, and Ron Perlman.

The show is co-created by Conor Keane, Tom Butterworth, Peter Lawson, and Damon Thomas, and is co-produced by Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures. Lawson and Jose Agustin Valdes will be executive producing for Steel Springs Pictures, along with Butterworth, Damon Thomas, Zeta-Jones, Rebecca Dundon, Dante Di Loreto, and Jeffrey Levine. Damon Thomas will be leading the direction, with writer and showrunner Butterworth. Keane will be co-writing the TV adaptation and serving as associate producer. Nick Harkaway will be serving as an executive consultant.

New episodes of ‘Kill Jackie’ will be dropping weekly on AMC+, and the show will be available exclusively on the platform in the US on October 2.
