‘Days of Our Lives’ EP Ken Corday Plans Third Concert to Benefit SAG/AFTRA Foundation’s Emergency Assistance Program
Ken Corday Returns to the Stage for a Third Time to Support SAG/AFTRA Foundation’s Emergency Assistance Program
Following two sold-out concerts in 2023 and 2024, Ken Corday, executive producer and composer of the popular soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives,’ is set to return to the stage for a third time in November. The concert series, titled ‘Songs Without Words,’ will feature a new collection of original works performed over three nights at the Garry Marshall Theatre in Burbank, California.
The concert series will take place on November 4, 6, and 7, with Corday performing select songs from his original music. Surprise special guests will introduce him each evening, adding an extra layer of excitement to the performances. The concert series is set to benefit the SAG/AFTRA Foundation’s Emergency Assistance Program, which provides critical financial support to SAG-AFTRA artists experiencing extreme or unexpected financial hardships.
For Corday, music has always been a way to bring people together, and this concert series is no exception. ‘It has always been deeply rewarding for me to share my music with an audience,’ he said in a statement. ‘What makes these performances especially meaningful is the opportunity to do what I love while supporting an organization that makes a tangible difference in our community.’
Corday’s music has a unique ability to resonate with audiences, and he hopes that this concert series will allow both familiar and new music to resonate in a fresh and meaningful way. ‘Returning to this repertoire after taking two years for reflection and writing has also given me a renewed perspective,’ he continued. ‘It’s like revisiting a favorite book and discovering passages you never noticed before.’
Tickets for the concert series may be purchased through the Garry Marshall ticketing office at (818) 955-8101 or www.GarryMarshallTheatre.org.
The SAG/AFTRA Foundation’s Emergency Assistance Program is a vital resource for SAG-AFTRA artists facing unexpected financial challenges. The program provides critical financial support to help artists get back on their feet and continue pursuing their passions. By supporting this program through the concert series, Corday is not only sharing his music with the world but also making a tangible difference in the lives of his fellow artists.
