Football Transfer Rumors: Newcastle, Manchester City, and More
Manchester City’s Clearout Aids Newcastle’s Search for a New Central Midfielder
A Manchester City clearout is reportedly underway, which could benefit Newcastle’s search for a new central midfielder to replace the departed Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimarães. Nico González, a central midfielder for Manchester City, might be leaving the Etihad Stadium to join Newcastle. González has struggled to prove himself at Manchester City, making this move a possibility.
Additionally, Manchester City’s attacking players Omar Marmoush and Savinho are on their way to Tottenham, signaling a busy end to the transfer window for the club. This move could free up space for other players to join Newcastle.
Manchester United’s Young Players Up for Grabs
Manchester United is looking to sell off some of their younger players to Arsenal. The Gibraltar international James Scanlon, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Swindon, and Habeeb Ogunneye are set for moves to the Premier League champions. Arsenal is ramping up their recruitment of young players to strengthen quality across the club.
On the other hand, Arsenal is letting go of another young player, Ethan Nwaneri, who is wanted by Fulham and Everton. RB Leipzig could also come into the mix for a loan move. Gabriel Jesus has been linked with an exit, but the Brazilian wants to stay at the Emirates Stadium.
