John Gore Studios CEO Hilary Strong Steps Down Amid Global Business Restructure
Hilary Strong is stepping down from her CEO post at John Gore Studios, a UK-based theater and screen producer. This move comes as the company’s founder and chairman, John Gore, aims to bring the UK and US operations together under a single holding company.
According to sources, John Gore will now lead both companies, allowing for better coordination of their respective film, TV, and theatrical businesses under a single strategic vision. This restructuring is part of a long-held ambition to launch a British studio, which was first revealed in January 2025.
As we reported back then, veteran TV producer Hilary Strong took on the CEO post to oversee a slate that included the Joan Collins-starring Wallis Sampson biopic. Under her leadership, John Gore Studios has made significant strides, with the business growing from zero to seven feature films in just 18 months.
