Nicolas Cage Set to Star in Action-Thriller ‘Parish’ as Nuclear Apocalypse Survivor
Nicolas Cage Takes on the Role of a Lifetime in ‘Parish’
Concourse Media is launching world pre-sales on the upcoming action-thriller ‘Parish’, which stars Nicolas Cage in a role that’s sure to leave audiences on the edge of their seats. Set 30 years after a devastating nuclear apocalypse, the film follows Cage’s character, Parish, as he navigates a treacherous world filled with vicious cannibals and desperate survivors.
Parish is a hardened survivor who has managed to stay alive for three decades by following one simple rule: never let anyone through the gate. However, when a desperate woman carrying an infant appears outside his sanctuary, Parish is forced to choose between compassion and survival. This decision exposes the refuge he has spent years building and puts him in the crosshairs of a ruthless band of cannibals closing in from the wasteland.
With his highly equipped compound under siege and his past finally catching up with him, Parish is forced into a brutal fight to protect everything he has left. The project heralds from writer-director Adam Sigal, who is known for his work on the Simon Pegg comedy-thriller ‘Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose’ and the 2024 sci-fi film ‘Slingshot’ starring Casey Affleck and Laurence Fishburne.
Filming is set to begin in October in Minnesota, with a talented team of filmmakers and producers working together to bring this thrilling story to life. The project is being produced by Joel Shapiro of MagiCity Studios and Steven Tyler Sahlein, with Matthew Shreder’s Concourse Media executive-producing and financing alongside its sister company Archetype Media Finance.
