Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the beloved manga and anime series ‘One Piece’ has just dropped a major bombshell. In a recent announcement made during the One Piece Day stage show in Tokyo, Japan, four talented actors have been tapped for recurring roles in the upcoming third season of the series, titled ‘One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta.’

The new cast members include Emilio Sakraya, who will play the role of Koza; Omid Abtahi, who will portray Toto; Jamie Ward, who will take on the character of Pell; and Nabeel Khan, who will play the role of Chaka.

Joining the original Straw Hat crew, which consists of Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji), alongside Charithra Chandran (Miss Wednesday), Mikaela Hoover (Chopper), Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday), and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefartari Cobra), these new additions bring an exciting mix of talent and experience to the table.

Previously announced new cast members joining Season 3 include Cole Escola (Bon Clay), Xolo Maridueña (Portgas D. Ace), Daisy Head (Miss Doublefinger), and Awdo Awdo (Mr. 1). Additional cast members will be announced at a later date.

In Season 3, Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew find themselves in the treacherous Grand Line, where war looms on the horizon for the desert kingdom of Alabasta, Princess Vivi’s homeland. A rebellion threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled by the ruthless Sir Crocodile and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves.

With unbreakable bonds and impossible choices defining the season, the Straw Hats must face a brewing civil war and a powerful warlord to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand.

Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes serve as co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers, while Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky Clements executive produce through Tomorrow Studios, along with Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda.

The highly anticipated third season of ‘One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta’ is set to captivate audiences worldwide, bringing the beloved characters and storylines to life in a thrilling and action-packed ride.
