Massive Drone Attack: Ukraine Strikes Russia, Kills 6

Ukraine has launched one of its largest aerial attacks of the war, deploying hundreds of drones across Russia and killing at least six people in the process.

The attack, which took place on Sunday, saw hundreds of drones heading towards the Russian capital, Moscow, with around 600 detected by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. A third of these drones were destroyed over the Moscow region itself.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a total of 822 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight. The Ministry also reported that an 83-year-old man was killed after a Ukrainian drone hit a private home in the Moscow region.

Local Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed that a Ukrainian attack had sparked a blaze at a warehouse belonging to Russian retail giant Wildberries. The attack also caused significant damage to the surrounding area, with images shared by Russian media outlets showing columns of black smoke rising from the site.

In addition to the Moscow region, the Rostov region in southwestern Russia was also targeted, with five people killed in the attack. Local Governor Yury Slyusar reported that three towns came under attack in the region.

The attack marks one of the largest aerial attacks by Ukraine on Russia since the start of the war. The move is seen as a significant escalation of the conflict, with both sides continuing to engage in a game of cat and mouse.

The situation remains tense, with both countries continuing to trade blows in a bid to gain the upper hand. As the conflict continues to escalate, the international community remains on high alert, watching the situation closely.

In related news, the US and Iran have reportedly been passing messages through intermediaries, according to Tehran. The move is seen as a significant development in the region, with both countries continuing to engage in a delicate dance of diplomacy.
