The Final Round of Lifehacker’s Big Guessing Game Has Begun
Welcome to the thrilling conclusion of Lifehacker’s Big Guessing Game! This year, Lifehacker, along with its sister sites within the CNET Group (CNET, ZDNet, Mashable, and PCMag), has been providing readers with an incredible opportunity to win the latest Apple Watch by making predictions about Apple’s significant 2026 announcements. We are officially in the third and final round, so be sure to submit your guesses before Apple’s highly anticipated fall event.
The Big Guessing Game is divided into three rounds, each with a unique set of questions and a distinct focus. Round 1, which concluded on June 2, centered on Apple’s software announcements (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, visionOS, etc.). You can review the results of this round here.
Round 2, which ended on July 21, had questions related to Apple hardware (iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, Vision Pro, etc.). You can see the results of this round here.
Round 3, which started on August 18 and will run through September 1, focuses on Apple’s fall event. This round is your last chance to participate and make predictions about what Apple might announce during its keynotes and presentations. Each round features five questions, and as such, we won’t know the answers for sure until Apple confirms them. However, once we do know, each correct prediction will earn you one entry into CNET Group’s grand-prize drawing. This drawing will take place at the end of the third round, and the winner will receive the latest version of Apple’s smartwatch.
To be eligible for the drawing, you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the 50 U.S. states or Washington, D.C. Additionally, you aren’t limited to Lifehacker’s guessing game; all CNET Group sites are hosting their own games, each with their own questions. This means there are 75 possible guesses across all three rounds. You can answer any or all of the questions each round, but note that you can only possibly win once, even if you play across multiple sites. Each of the five sites will announce the winner of its contest shortly after Apple’s fall event.
It’s essential to note that there are no purchase necessary to enter or win the ‘CNET Group Big Guessing Game’ Giveaway.
